We both love Poppies and what better time to use them in a challenge than coming up to Remembrance Sunday. This year is a special anniversary and so we felt it should be marked in some way. Have you all seen the splendid carpet of Poppies at the Tower of London. Unfortunately neither of us have had the time to go down but there still is time ...
Anyway here we are with our Poppy inspiration
Neet chose to make a small card and use her Adirondack Pens (that's a blast from the past isn't it) to colour them in but then gave way to the Twinkling H2o's for the actual flower heads.

you might find it interesting to see her entire Poppy collection of pictures, pottery and jewellery - told you she likes Poppies, some of which she is going to show you on her blog.
Wendy also loves poppies, and has a healthy collection of rubber stamps and pictures, plus many years of poppy birthday cards.
For this challenge she made a tag, with a poem from the first World War, had time and a house move allowed she would have made lots of poppy tags. A task for the future perhaps.
We both hope that you find time to join in with us. Remember prizes have been suspended for the time being but the blinkies are still on offer.
