We are Neet and Wendy and we would like to welcome you to our fortnightly challenge, ‘Artful Times’, where we are offering a variety of challenges to inspire you to create in whichever style or medium of crafting you enjoy. You never know, we might even inspire you to create something out of your comfort zone and try out something new.

Yes like all challenge sites we have rules and guidelines. We hope you will read and follow them, we have Oyster Stamps as our sponsor, and of course, a winner and runner up will be chosen each month. We may also have the occasional guest designer.

Challenge 70 - Wrapping Paper

For this challenge we would like you to make some wrapping paper. The base for this could be brown, tissue, or any other suitable paper. You can colour it with inks, paints, crayons, or anything else you can think off that will colour your paper. You can stamp images, add embellishments, or just glitz it up. It could just produce a very different piece of wrapping paper for that special present.

We look forward to seeing your creativity on this challenge.

Please read the rules to make sure your entry fits the bill.

Neet has produced this
 (apologies for the photo)

Wendy has used deli paper for her sample

This will be our last Challenge for the year 2014 so we would like to wish you all a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!  See you all in January.

ps the winner for challenges 68, 69 & 70 will be announced on the 19th.

So at last, I had time to do some marathon stamping... A great challenge, I think, such a good way to use our stamps and get to know them well!
Merry Christmas to the whole Artful Times family!!!
